How to Play Andar Bahar

Objective

Predict whether a card matching the "joker" card’s rank will appear on the Andar (left) or Bahar (right) side first to win the bet.

Game Setup

• Players: Unlimited (each player bets individually against the dealer).
• Deck: Uses a single standard 52-card deck without jokers.
• Joker Card: A single card is drawn and placed in the center as the reference card (e.g., 7♥).

Gameplay

1. Players place their bets on either Andar or Bahar.
2. The dealer draws a joker card and places it face-up (e.g., 9♠).
3. Cards are dealt alternately to the Andar and Bahar sides, starting with Andar (unless rules specify otherwise).
4. The game continues until a card of the same rank as the joker appears (e.g., another 9).
5. If the matching card appears on the side you bet on, you win; otherwise, you lose.

Payouts

• Winning Bet: Typically pays 1:1 (e.g., bet $10, win $10 + your $10 back).
